楼主能否透露下哪家公司啊，是不是华能控股的那家，本人国内也是电力系统的，如果待遇特别好，也想投投看.
6位的话扣了税也没多少了，基本和国内持平了。

楼主公司是专做热电，还是做输变电这块的

因为现在国内有蛮多搞新能源配套项目的风电的在GLADSTONE很热闹也想趁形式好，再做个几年

having a stable job you don't have to worry about the economic climate.
You will always get a stable income.
It's easier to get homeloans from the bank.
Don't have to work up early.
You get sick days.
annual leave.
public holidays.
You can stay at home and still get paid.

Working less means you can spend more time with your loved ones.

Engineering ~~大概1年後的起薪就是6位數字了~~

不過Engineering工作性質比較累點~~且擔的風險比較高

再者了~~其實扣掉45%~~真的剩下的跟你也不會差太多......

PS....UQ Engineering~大概9.5成以上是沒有女友的~~你了的......

45%? you would have to earn over $180,000 Gross income. and only the amount that is over $180,000 would be taxed at 45%.

I think you don't know how to calculate tax.

For example if you earn $20,000 a year you don't pay 15% X $20,000. (This is incorrect)

the first $6000 is 0% tax.

the next $14,000 is taxed at 15%. so you pay $2100 tax.

The Australian tax system (business or individual) is an anautomatic stabilizer. The more you earn the more you get taxed but if you are losing money you won't get taxed.

"且擔的風險比較高" It's not risky at all. You work in an office 99% of the time.

I think Chinese people are really smart but why are there so many international students studying business or management? When there are already so many graduates/master/phds who can't find jobs in this area. I think you need atleast 8-10 years of experience in what ever sector before you can become a manager. So how can you expect to graduate and jump into a manager position? It's unrealistic.

I really think overseas students should have a look at what jobs are lacking (skills shortage) before they put their foot down and study something that will not lead employment in Australia if they plan to stay in Australia.

Should pick something; a balance 平衡 between something that has high job prospects but also pick something that they will/might enjoy.

For example looking at QLD, there's lock smith, engineering, nursing I think nurses earn $90,000+ a year, lots of interesting jobs. Why all study business? The world/australia doesn't need 100000000 dancers, or 10000000 managers. Doesn't make sense. 自取灭王??

我知道怎麼算tax不過扣掉税~~真的差不了太多...........這就是所謂的high tax...
反正在澳洲生活真的不需要太多錢~~除非時常買名牌~跑車~~

風險比較高是一定的~~我說的是Engineering ~~不是只有你的工作性質~~
civil / mining.....等等的都是比較高的

但是有一個一定是對的~~9.5成的Engineering 沒有女友.............

要不然你也不會來這了~~對八~~~

如果你和其他比的話........牙醫一年也6位數字~~6-7成在牙醫所.....2-3成在家里打遊戲拿錢.....他們是算booking..

呵呵,你说的我都知道, 我只是回复之前那位老兄而已. 摆摊我也是举例而已, 我现在做的既有stable 也有很累的, 但得到的也远远超过6位数, 只是想表达只要想干澳洲这劳动力巨贵的地方很容易赚钱的.

移民問題~~簡單來說~~

他的專業是工程~~每年有多少人畢業........~~移民的有幾個......

澳洲最大的移民群就是會計........IT

大家想的是移民澳洲~~不是賺錢......所以大部分人沒去讀工程

且在這者了~~在澳洲大家的生活差不了多的.......賺多賺少~~都是過生活......

如果要真正的翻身~~要靠下一帶了~~

你這代賺在多錢~~身分地位~~還是一樣"低"

我好友家庭就是這樣~~4個小孩~3個醫生...................

完全就是不一樣的生活圈了........

另外一個認識的台灣第2代人.....是這裡的議員了..........

he migrated to Australia (first generation)....wanted to get a few millions from OZ banks to setup a solar panel manufacturing company, but banks rejected.
He moved back to china, secured funds and set up his own company, and is now one of the riches in China or Australia.

By the way, i am getting his solar panels (Suntech, well known brand here).

i am an engineer also (but not in mining), been overseas 15 years, originally from Malaysia............

The Xantrex inverter is one of the best, if not the best inverter on the market.

I got a big system (16 panels... but I've seen people who get 30 panels...) because I wanted to get money when I get my electricity bill. (Which is what happened last quarter, I got $55 CR instead of having to pay $400...)

Using conservative figures (worst case): Also with the introduction of the carbon tax having a larger system will help save heaps even faster.

· Assume on shady days panel generates nothing, when in reality it still generates something.

· Assume efficiency is 80% (but in reality 95%+)

· Annual Sunny days in QLD = 236 days

· With the tariff (*) if you install a 1.5kW system you will be covering some of your own use (saving $0.20/kWh) other times you will be generating (making $0.50) so use $0.30
With a 3kW system you will be covering you own use and generating more of the time to supply the network so use $0.40

I have a friend who's in IT, UQ grad too. after a year or two you will get promoted and your salary will increase heaps

Also you have some programming knowledge you can build on that and make websites or apps eg. Instagram sold for $1,000,000,000 recently and Draw something sold for $250,000,000. Lots of opportunities.
