2012中国新年--壬辰龙年

由多元文化公司和布里斯班市议会联合举办的中国新年庆典将在2012年1月28日在SunnybankPlaza 购物商场举行。在亚洲文化中，中国农历新年是中国人一年中最重要，最绚丽的节日。我们也把它叫做“春节”。华人社会在这个节日里会团聚到一起，互相致谢感恩，来迎接新的一年。当我们在澳洲庆祝代表着财富，吉祥和长寿的龙年的时候，亚洲各地的华人，比如中国大陆，中国香港，中国澳门，越南，新加坡，台湾，印度尼西亚以及马来西亚，还有全世界的华人都在同我们一起分享着这份喜悦和快乐。

届时我们会有一系列的街头表演，比如舞龙舞狮，武术，中国各种朝代的舞蹈，传统和现代民乐，魔术表演等等。在这个庆祝活动中，我们想要突出的一个特点是“多元化”。我们不仅邀请了华人来进行表演，还邀请了来自世界各地的不同种族，肤色的人一起来加入我们的表演队伍，希望全世界的人都能感受到中华艺术的博大和包容，一起同我们分享中国春节的这份喜庆和快乐。

The 2012 Chinatown Chinese New Year was a great success Despite the wet weather forecast, we were fortunate enough to have 3 days of fine weather. There were over 45,000 people in attendance over those three days celebration.

For those who miss out, we have another celebration in the Chinese Precinct of Sunnybank. It will be all under cover in the Northern Car Park stand of the Sunnybank Plaza. All will be fully covered including undercover car park.

28th Januaru, 2012
10am to 5pm
Entry via Huelin Street

There will be back to back entertainment between 12pm to 5pm
These include dragon dance, lion dance, Chinese magic show. Orchid New Music Group, Bamboo Dance, Chinese Puppets and much much more

There will be between 30-40 stalls offering arts and crafts

So come and enjoy the first ever - Chinese New Year Festival in Sunnybank Chinese Precinct.

Official opening will be by the Chinese Embassy, Brisbane City Council and President of the Chinese Precinct Chamber of Commerce.
