澳洲: 布市河底隧道減價三月

(本報布里斯本訊)布里斯本的河底隧道被逼減價三個月，吸引更多駕駛人士使用。
由七月一日開始，私家車收費只是2元、重型貨車5.30元、小型貨車3元，及電單車1元。
這條6.8公里長的隧道今年3月啟用，但汽車流量一直令人極度失望，每日只有2.2萬至2.4萬車次，比原先預計的6萬車次相差甚遠。
目前的收費是私家車2.95元、電單車1.48元、小型貨車4.43元及重型貨車7.82元。
隧道公司RIVERCITY MOTORWAY行政總裁FLAN CLEARY在一份聲明中指出，今次決定減價是應對布里斯本駕駛人士反映的意見，收費2元才會使用。
今次的折價收費將維持三個月。(嘉文)

Toll prices, fees and vehicle class changes

From 1 July 2010, toll prices, fees and vehicle classes will change on the Gateway, Logan and Gateway Extension motorways.

Tolls are changing in accordance with the Government's decision to introduce a new tolling structure for the motorways to facilitate a major upgrade of the southern end of the Gateway Motorway and a new, toll-free Port of Brisbane Motorway as announced by the Treasurer on 18 March 2010.

Tolls are necessary to help meet the cost of all new road infrastructure on the Queensland Motorways network, including the extension to the Gateway Upgrade Project.

From 1 July new vehicle classes will also be introduced to bring Queensland Motorways in line with other toll road operators in Queensland. Click here for comprehensive definitions of each of vehicle class.

If you are an existing tag customer and your vehicle class has changed, you do not need a new tag.
