撞车了，第三方责任险怎样claim？

unfortunately, no matter you are in CTP or 3rd party insurance, you cannot claim from your insurance company because it is your fault and you need to pay by yourself... you can claim in this case only if you purchase comprehensive insurance.

the owner must contact you but it will normally take 1-3 months if the owner left it to their insurance company to handle it.
i crushed other people's car before too. the owner contact me nearly 6 months later. i am very happy before he contacted me because i think he does not want his money back (i am silly ><)

第三方险有两种COMPULSORY THIRD PARTY LIFE INSURANCE是在REGO里面的, THIRD PARTY PROPERTY INSURANCE是你自己单独购买的，在这之上可以买THEFT AND STEAL，多50左右，再高一些就是COMPREHENSIVE INSURANCE，也就是全险，只有全险是包对方和自己车辆的，如果是THIRD PARTY PROPERTY INSURANCE的话，如果是你责任，保险公司包赔他的车，你的车不管，如果是对方责任，你找他保险公司claim，让他给你赔。如果他没有保险的话，AAMI会象征性给你3000做补偿。其他公司不知道policy。

如果楼主所谓的第三险是REGO里面的CTP， 对不起，那个只能保人，不能保车,马上联系对方车主看看能不能私了赔钱
如果楼主有第三方财务险，立刻CLAIM

不要等，对方如果认为你故意不联系他告诉她CLAIM NUMBER的话，他自己会CLAIM自己全险，保险公司会派人追债，那个时候本来500能搞定的可能就要3000了，被保险公司追债不是什么好事儿
