Brisbane有沒有香港人？

我响melbourne为左份工搬过黎3个礼拜，闷到痴线。唔系香港人但系系广东人。超难识到friend。我都中意踢波或者打波，不过好耐好耐都无玩。我住eight mile plains。有时间一齐踢波或者打波啊。

消遣? umm ... not much
i have been continuing studying since gradution while working full time ... so half of my time got killed by homework and revision

the other half is just for common things like karoke, playing mah-jong, bushwalking, gardening, bbq and picinic, shopping and house chores as most of us would do ... nothing special really

I've seen some Asians live in redcliffe before, not sure where are they from though.

really, redcliff is a nice place to live with beautiful jetty close-by ... all major shops and supermarkets have stores there ... plenty of facilities and recreation for enjoyment and relaxatiion ... just lack of employment opportunities in this small region

i wouldn't disagree with that but the percentage remains low WHEN comparing with others
maybe in the early years like 80s and 90s, majority of immigrants were from hk but not these days any more ... no more the case from what i observe during the past 10 years or so

my PTH has improved to a level that i can pretend i am from the southern part of the PRC
spoken cantonese remains in a mint condition probably because its my first language but written chinese is backsliding to OMG!!!!

dont know why recently manyppl choose or consider to relocate from big cities to brisbane

in terms of soccer, i know there is a group used to play in UQ every weekend .. not sure though
you need to do some search to find it out yourself

dont think its just "recently", and it is never easy to get to choose where to work especially graduates. you lose some you gain some. i will have a search for the soccer thing tho. Thanks a lot!
