顶你啦，同为UQ毕业，当初也在ITEE。不过IT的工资真没有工程的高呀，刚毕业只有55k-60k左右，去掉税只剩40k+。挺羡慕你是澳籍，找工作很容易！

I have a friend who's in IT, UQ grad too. after a year or two you will get promoted and your salary will increase heaps

Also you have some programming knowledge you can build on that and make websites or apps eg. Instagram sold for $1,000,000,000 recently and Draw something sold for $250,000,000. Lots of opportunities.

Yep, just got an offer for 300K :), anything can happen in IT.
